Van Luxor: 5 dagen en 4 nachten Nijlcruise naar Aswan

The tour consisted of various elements and was very well organised. Our tour guides and drivers were all very good, but our tour guide for the Nile Cruise element Abdo (5 stars), was excellent. Abdo's knowledge of ancient Egypt was impressive, and he brought it to life for us with his stories and explanations. He cared for our comfort, providing umbrellas' when the heat became too much. His modern day knowledge of Egypt was also great. Abdo met us at Aswan Airport and stayed with us throughout the 4 day Nile cruise until dropping us at Luxor Airport. The hotels and Nile boat were different ones to what we expected from the Reflections website so we were never sure where we were going but the service and friendliness of all the staff were good. The only issue I have is the lack of communication from Reflections Travel. We had to chase for all information - which airline? what flight time? booking reference? for the internal flights, what time were we being picked up? were not provided as a matter of course. Even on the last day we chased for our final transfer to the airport, eventually they text to say the hotel provided a shuttle - it's not hard to provide information, but painful to get it. This would have received 5 stars bar the poor communication and information on the tour logistics.

L’ Egypte reste magique et magique de part son histoire et tous ses monuments! MAIS, si vous faites une croisière, évitez les bateaux à moteur pour plusieurs raisons: À quai ils sont tous collés les uns aux autres. Il y a souvent des amarrages la nuit donc c’est bruyant. Peu importe où vous vous trouvez dans le bateau, c’est très bruyant, soit les hommes d’équipage qui discutent, et surtout les moteurs de tous les bateaux qui tournent H24 pour fournir de l’électricité. Si vous avez le choix prenez des cabines à l’avant, c’est moins pire (comme on dit). À notre avis, le mieux serait la descente du Nil à la voile. Une fois arrivé, prendre un transport, pour éviter la remontée tracté par un remorqueur.

Geweldige tour van Luxor en Aswan! Egypt Tours Portal deed geweldig werk met het organiseren van alles en Mahmoud Nour was een uitstekende gids. Het was zo leuk om alle details verzorgd te hebben met vervoer, tickets, eten en activiteiten en Mahmoud handelde het allemaal naadloos af. Wij en onze kinderen hielden van een bezoek aan de ongelooflijke Vallei der Koningen, Luxor en Karnak tempels, Abu Simbel, en nog veel meer. De extra excursies naar het Nubische dorp en de heteluchtballonvaart waren onvergetelijk en zeer de moeite waard. Over het algemeen konden we niet meer tevreden zijn met Mahmoud en onze hele cruise-ervaring. Dank u ETP!
