Hurghada Cairo Pyramids-dagtour per vliegtuig - Kleine groep

It was really fantastic We were picked up by the organization at 6.20 am as agreed. The flight also went very well and when we arrived in Cairo we were very kindly welcomed outside the arrivals hall by Attaka, Samier and Mahmoud We had to wait a while until our group was complete (6 people in total) when we walked to our private bus and met the driver Amier who would drive us all day in and around Cairo We start our trip in the National Museum of Cairo and walked around there for about 1.5 hours and were able to see a lot of things and received an explanation from Attaka Then we went to the shops around the museum and then we continued our trip with the first surprise of the day, a papyrus factory where we were also very well guided and explained how everything was made Then a nice lunch and that was just good food, not fancy but just tasty Then we went to the pyramids, which was quite an experience and camel ride Then to the spinx temple and a small market Then another surprise we drove past a cotton store with very nice affordable clothing And if it couldn't end, we were taken by Attaka and friends to a restaurant for dinner (another surprise at no extra cost) where we also experienced a very beautiful sunset on the top floor (terrace) of the restaurant with a view about the 3 pyramids Then we sailed for 10 euros per person on the Nile for an hour with a boat, which was really fantastic After that we went to a bazaar but it was so busy there (because of Eid) that Attaka didn't think it was safe for us and then only showed a few mosques and then our excellent driver Amier took us to the airport where we landed again around 1 o'clock in the morning Where someone from the organization was waiting for us outside the arrivals hall and to take us immediately to our resort Thanks again for this unforgettable day Attaka, Samier, Amier and Mahmoud It was well worth the money ????????????

Le départ pour l'aéroport, le vol ainsi que la prise en charge au Caire s'est bien passé. Notre guide francophone Nasser est très compétant en ce qui concerne l'egyptologie bien que très tourné vers la note que nous lui attriburions à la fin de la journée. La visite du musée fut très (trop) rapide. Nos 3 ados ont payé le tarif adulte mais Nasser a obtenu le tarif étudiant. Où est passé la difference ? Il en fut de même sur le site de Gizeh. Il nous a conduit ensuite pour une croisière facultative à 15€ non précisé à la réservation. Le magasin de papyrus (chinois) et celui de parfum (chinois aussi) font partie des arnaques à touriste. Nous aurions préféré rester plus longtemps au musée. Le restaurant était plus que décevant tant en matière de nourriture que d'accueil. L'après-midi fut consacré aux pyramides. Le guide nous a indiqué que les animaux (chameaux et chevaux) appartenaient à l'état et nous a poussé à en faire au prix de 10€. Enfin, les boissons dans le véhicule étaient précisé gratuites. Or il a essayé de nous les vendre.

The trip to the Pyramids and Cairo was very good. The guide and drivers were excellent. Unfortunately my plans for the week were thrown into problems by Viator. At 6.20 the night before I was due to go, I received a WhatsApp message saying that my flight was overbooked and that "you can not go tomorrow". "Could you give another day?" I objected to this as the only day free before returning to the UK was the next. This had a totally detrimental affect on my next trip and the experience was difficult instead of enjoyable. I paid up front, planned well in advance only to be dashed. Why was I chosen to be left off the plane? Viator have been asked for their views but as yet they are not willing to enter into any reasonable dialogue. They have not delivered in full on what I purchased yet felt at ease damaging my holiday experiences.
