Food Odyssey with Mariana Kavroukaki exceeded all expectations! She shared her wealth of knowledge during every bite and location. We watched phylo dough and bougatsa being made, sampled all sorts of fried pies or "Sfakianes Pites," cheeses and meats, desserts and Raki. She brought all sorts of fresh herbs for us to smell and she shared stories about everything we experienced. I loved walking around the Old Town and learning about the history of different periods of Crete, as well as visiting the different shops in our very small group experience. This was a highlight of our trip to Crete and one I will recommend for all my friends to experience!
