When I woke up the morning I was supposed to begin my tour in Delhi with a terrible case of strep throat, I thought that my dreams of exploring India were ruined. I could not have been more wrong. My guide, Dilip, picked me up early and took me to one of the nicest private hospitals in Delhi, got me an appointment with an excellent doctor, and even helped fill out all the paperwork for me. Dilip never left my side, and treated me as if I were his own sister rather than a complete stranger. Because of him I was able to get the proper medicine and started feeling better immediately, and was able to fully enjoy 3 perfect days in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
All of the guides, especially Dilip (Delhi) and Ashok (Jaipur) are so kind, friendly and knowledgable, and truly make you feel like family. Tonney (guide in Agra) is an excellent photographer who knows exactly where to get the absolute best pictures at the Taj Mahal! Ashok is a Jaipur native and is so passionate about sharing his city's history and most beautiful spot, and is an excellent source of information on Indian history and culture. Raj Sharma, the owner of Nikita Holidays, is extremely kind and communicative, and will do anything to make sure that your needs are met.
I was initially nervous about traveling by myself as a 20-something woman in India, even more when I became sick, but with Nikita Holidays I felt like I was travelling with family. I cannot reccomend them enough, and I hope to return to India soon!
