Loch Ness en de Hooglanden vanuit Inverness

I had horrible experience with them. I booked the scenic tour with them, my parents came all the way from India. They cancelled my trip just 10 hours before . They called me twice at around 21:30, which I missed and when I called back they informed me that tour is cancelled at 22:00 just over a phone call. The representative gave a reason for the cancellation and told me she is sorry and as a compensation she will provide me coupon for future trips . I waited whole night thinking I will get the confirmation of cancellation via mail. They didn’t bother to even send me a mail of cancellation. Since I didn’t receive any official mail. I called them back at 7am next morning to recheck. The representative told me yes it’s cancelled and when I asked again the reason of cancellation, it was totally different from the previous one. So they haven’t provided exactly why the tour was cancelled. And when I got pissed and asked f Why have not they mailed me, she kept saying we have forwarded mail to most of them. When I argues, what do 7 mean by most of them.. I haven’t received any mail yet. She kept saying-we have mailed. She was so rude. When I told her I haven’t received any mail. She then forwarded me a mail ,and she didn’t say anything about the coupons for the future trips also. They not only wasted my investment, more importantly they wasted my time. I tried to book another trips , but at the last moment none of them were available for 3 days, and I was flying back after 3 days. They wasted my money and my time . I will never recommend them.

Excellent trip and our driver Jack was full of local history and stories. Would definitely do again.

The first day was very good with a lot of interesting views - Highland mountains, lochs and related things. The second day was a waste of time in my view -- only the Clava Cairns were of any interest to me. The overnight stay in Inverness was at a Bed and Breakfast that reminded me why I like hotels -- beware/be sure what kind of accommodation you sign up for. Not including the fee (£7) for the Culloden Battlefield museum/centre seemed like nickel-and-diming. If I were to do this sort of thing again, I'd find a one-day (probably at least 12 hours) tour that went just Edinburgh to Loch Ness and then returned, maybe via different roads, to Edinburgh. Or take a 1-day tour to Inverness and take the train back by myself. Guide Michelle/Shelby did an excellent job. Having to both drive the bus and do the guiding as just one person is hard work and she did a fine job. I would have preferred less Seventeenth Century Scottish military history and more about current economy and sociology of the areas but I don't know who decides that.
