2D1N Senaru-kraterrandtrekking

My hiking experience was Incredible!! I book the trip for myself, but then hike with another 2 fun couples. We are guided by Rudi, who at that time was fasting yet fully energized to entertain us with his singing. One of the porter (Lot) was helping me during the climb because im slower than the rest. Overall, the porters, guide, hiking mate, and ultimately the view at the crater rim are all beyond my expectation. will definitely return to Rinjani with this tour!

We recently did the 2D1N Mt Rinjani Crater Rim hike and the experience was incredible, largely due to our tour guide Rudi and our amazing porters. The hike was definitely challenging but had beautiful views all the way along to keep you inspired and the sunset and sunrise at the top of the crater rim were worth the hike! Our guide Rudi was so kind, patient and encouraging as we hiked up. He stopped anytime we needed a break and accommodated our pace. He was chatty and always had a huge smile on his face. We loved him! Our porters were also incredible!! They were very friendly and incredibly good cooks - the food we had was delicious and very filling. They set up our tents and chairs and a table so by the time we reached the top we could crash and take in the beautiful views. I would recommend this hike to anyone and would highly suggest using this company. You won’t be disappointed!

Lombok Volcano Trekking was incredibly easy to use, and a great experience all around. They picked us up from our AirBnB down the hill, and stored our travelling baggage while we hiked. The porters carried our sleeping gear and food (which they prepared into incredible meals - fried bananas, nasi goreng, banana pancakes, chicken curry) up the mountain ahead of us, in nothing but their flip flops and everyday clothing - while I struggled in my hiking shoes and minimal weight backpack. The trek itself was incredible - I’m not in great shape, so it was definitely a very difficult challenge, but the satisfaction and pride that accompanied reaching the rim was worth the labour. Our guide, Rudi, was just fantastic. He was so kind and patient and constantly wanted to ensure we were okay and enjoying ourselves. He really made the experience what it was - incredible ! Thanks for everything folks! PS - just a reminder (as they note in the package!) that you’ll need to buy park passes per person, per day, prior to the trek (though Joe kindly booked them for us, and we were able to repay him). A second reminder, hiking poles were key ! If they offer them, I definitely suggest taking them up on their offer :)
