As a complete novice, I booked onto this day course with very little knowledge or skill. But by the end of the day, with Ilgin’s expert tuition I had produced a yummy loaf. Since the course, I have now baked about a dozen - the first few shaky but still delicious - and now feel like an old hand. I would really recommend this course for those wanting to develop a skill. Ilgin is also a lovely host (the class is in her kitchen), a knowledgable chemist and a passionate foodie. Even if you don’t use those new skills, it is a very lovely way to spend a day.
