So far, I've toured downtown Medellin (with this same company and guide), had two different food tours and now I can say I rode a horse through the Andes and toured a coffee farm. Out of all of my experiences, this one was by far the best and the reason why, was riding on horseback.
The coffee farm and learning all about how the coffee was made was nice. Touring Jardin was nice as well, but, for me the main highlight was riding the horse. The other main highlight was my excellent guide, Daniela and her driver James. They were both excellent company and it was fun doing this trip with them.
I've never ridden a horse before, so, if you are worried about not having any experience, they will give you a horse that they jokingly call "automatic". You don't have to know anything and it knows where it is going. Also, I don't want to diminish the other aspects of the tour. The coffee farm was beautiful, the owner and his wife were very nice and the coffee was delicious. The town of Jardin was beautiful as well and I enjoyed the famous coffee shop we stopped at.
You should go on this tour! It's worth it!
