My husband and I climbed with Climb Kili. I can honestly say there is no way I would have been able to summit with any other outfitter. Our guide, Manny, was absolutely amazing! The knowledge he had was far superior than anyone we researched before picking Climb Kili. He was able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each climber in our group and adapt the climb daily to ensure all had success summitting. The assistant guides were amazing as well. Climb Kili's ability to camp at Kosovo made all the difference in having a successful summit, which all 6 of us did.
The food prepared was exactly what was needed by the group to face each day. The amount of food was in abundance. We had brought snacks, but brought way too much. We were able to share with the guides and porters. They even prepared a cake on the mountain to celebrate our success.
The support group I cannot say enough about. Camp was always ready for when we were done climbing for the day. Water provided for drinking and hot water provided for cleaning up the end of each day. Tents set up with our bags inside. Food ready. Tea/coffee brought to our tent every morning. The toilet was kept absolutely clean.
The Climb Kili group made us feel like a family and were so welcoming. I have never felt such at home while traveling before.
If you are considering climbing Kilimanjaro you do not want to consider another outfitter other than Climb Kili.
You found it! Whether you’re climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or planning a Tanzania safari, there is no need to look any further than Climb Kili.
We spent two weeks with Climb Kili in mid‑February 2026, including an 8‑day Lemosho Route climb of Kilimanjaro followed by a three‑day Serengeti safari, and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.
From the moment we landed, everything was handled seamlessly. Climb Kili picked us up at the airport, arranged our hotel, managed all logistics, and took care of every detail before, during, and after the climb. The organization, communication, and professionalism immediately put us at ease. Safety was clearly their top priority throughout the trip.
Kilimanjaro – Lemosho Route (8 Days)
We climbed with our guide Emmanuel (“Emma D” / the “El Capitán”), who has summited Kilimanjaro over 100 times. His experience was evident every single day. The guides closely monitored our acclimatization, pacing, and overall well‑being, adjusting as needed to give us the best possible chance of success.
The food on the mountain was outstanding—far better than expected—and we were consistently encouraged to eat and stay hydrated. Each morning, we left camp around 7:00 AM, which allowed the team to break camp early, move ahead, and secure excellent campsites each night.
The entire guide and porter team was incredible: professional, friendly, and genuinely supportive. It was also clear that Climb Kili treats their staff well—everyone was motivated, proud, and clearly respected.
The day before summit night, the guides intentionally tested our pace at a higher altitude to see how we handled it. That thoughtful planning allowed them to create a precise summit strategy. We left Kosovo Camp at midnight, reached Stella Point just before sunrise, and thanks to careful pacing and timing, all five members of our group successfully reached the summit. A 100% summit success rate speaks volumes about their approach.
Serengeti Safari
After the climb, Climb Kili seamlessly transitioned us to a three‑day Serengeti safari. Flying directly into the Serengeti allowed us to start deep in the park and work our way back toward Arusha, maximizing wildlife viewing in a short timeframe.
In just three days, we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five. Our safari guides, Emmanuel (a different one, although “El Capitán” also leads safaris) and Simon, were outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic about sharing the wildlife and landscapes with us.
Above‑and‑Beyond Service
As a final touch, after the safari when we were collecting our bags at the hotel before a long international flight, Sia with Climb Kili arranged for us to use a room to shower and change. After two weeks of exceptional service, that thoughtful gesture truly felt like the perfect ending.
Final Thoughts
I cannot say enough good things about Climb Kili and their entire team. If you are looking for a professional, ethical, safety‑focused, and truly full‑service Kilimanjaro operator—whether you are a first‑time climber or an experienced hiker—book with confidence. We would absolutely choose Climb Kili again and recommend them without hesitation.
In early November, 2026, with no real elevation or hiking experience, my wife and I comitted ourselves to joing a few friends in climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro on Feb 10, 2026. Our 5 person group, all in their early to late 60's had varing degrees of fitness but our guide, Amani, lead us along with his assistant guides, Isiah and Godwin. They made sure we were all able to reach the peak!. It was a facinating experience - by far, for me, the most difficult challenge ever - and the decent was even tougher!
