Mount Kilimanjaro (Machame-route)

My two friends and I had the time of our lives on Kilimanjaro hosted by a local Tanzania company - Kilimanjaro Economy Safari. Nothing could have prepared us for the exact nature of the trek as it was tough and fulfilling in equal measure. We enjoyed some of the most beautiful views in the world particularly from the third day when we were above the clouds to the unforgettable sunrise from the summit. Our wonderful guide Mike and Karuma demonstrated superb guiding skills and excellent knowledge of the mountain. They knew what was expected at every juncture. We were well resourced with top grade equipment that served us well, enough food and other supplies that we did not lack in anything and luxuries that made our lives comfortable in the tough conditions. Our crew was kind and helped us a lot. They kept us motivated and pushed us where necessary. Their efforts are the reason we reached the summit safely and without even a single scratch. I highly recommend Kilimanjaro Economy Safari to all who are considering attempting to go for Kilimanjaro's summit.

We hiked the 6 days Kilimanjaro Machame route with Teacher as the lead guide and had the time of our lives. I was very impressed by the entire team under Teacher’s leadership for their adaptability to our capability, the terrain and attention to detail. They were also very friendly and treated us so well. They did an amazing job of taking care of the 3 of us and ensuring that we reached the summit. This company has excellent equipment for the climbers and crew. The supplies of food, water and other consumables was more than adequate and we did not lack in anything. An absolutely amazing experience with my husband and teenage son. This was my second Kilimanjaro trek but the first with my family. We opteed for the private package where each one of us had a guide assigned, Snr guide Kileo, for Ramus, Peter with Bjorn and I was supported by Stephen. They were great! So friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive and responsive to our needs. Actually the whole crew of guides, porters and chef did an outstanding job in esuring that we were safe and comfortable. The gear, food and overall support was absolutely great. We are very happy with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari for the wonderful support.
