Stadstour door Negombo

March-April 2023 (20 days tour) Our tour started in Negombo and then Habarana-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-by train to Ella-Tissamaharama-Udawalawe-Yala-Tangalle-Unawatuna and back to airport. Thanks to Lahiru was our holiday PERFECT. He is very kind, attentive, friendly, punctual and has a lot of knowledge about the local things and his country. During our tour of 3 weeks we became friends and our son of 5 years old misses him already. For us it was a new experience because normally we rent a car and drive ourselves but after this adventure ... Why you should rent a car? His prices are very accurate and the quality of your trip will be increased a few levels. He respects your privacy but when you need him, he will be there for you to help. We made a complete tour+hotels ourselves , so we had an itinerary. But if you don't, ask him and he will help. If you want to eat or drink something, He knows the good places. I can't say any negative, he is such a beautiful person.

Lahiru is one of the kindest and most friendly souls, I've ever met. It's been my third and my best friend's first time in Sri Lanka. During one of my earlier trips, I was lucky that Lahiru could drive my boyfriend and me from Negombo to Weligama. Even during this short trip, his calm and very responsible driving, his deep and interesting knowledge on Sri Lanka resonated well with us. This is why we've reached out and consider ourselves to get Lahiru as our Tour Guide. When picking us up from the airport, we were greeted with sea-shell neglaces and Lahiru drove us to Habarana. For our first full day in Sri Lanka, Lahiru organized for a Jeep Safari in one of the national parks. We enjoyed this a lot and saw lots of elephants. We were at the spot early, before many other cars showed up. So Lahirus timing was just perfect. On our second day we went for a small hike up a hill with perfect view on Sigyria. We wouldn't have known about this opportunity and would have joined hundreds of tourist flocking up Sigyria if it wasn't for Lahiru. After the hike Lahiru organized a nice village tour for us, with a local cooking class, boat and carriage ride. The next two days we spent in Kandy, where Lahiru gave us a nice tour through the tooth temple and recommended the Botanical Gardens to us, which we enjoyed a lot. For our next stay in Ella, Lahiru dropped us at a train station, arranged train tickets and saw us into the train. On the way to the train station my friend got car-sick (she does that rather often) and Lahiru gave his very best to drive even more gentle and avoid any abrupt movements. We appreciated that a lot. We enjoyed the scenic ride a lot, yet we were extremely happy to get back into his comfortable car in Ella. In Ella we did little hikes and explored the nine arche bridge. Ella was very scenic and extremely nice with regards to the climate. Our last longer stay was in Weligama, where Lahiru brought us to our hotel and picked us up again after we spent 3 days there, surfing and relaxing in the sun. Lahiru made our trip very special with sharing lots of interesting insights on Sri Lankas history, recent past and current situation. We could not have wished for a better experience - Lahiru is by far the best tour guide we ever had!

Excellent transfer from negombo to hikkaduwa. Very friendly and safe driver. Was punctual and car spotless even flowers on rear seat. Great and informative conversation throughout journey made it a trip in its own right. Even stopped and bought us a king coconut en route. Look forward to using again for other trips. Highly recommended.
