8-daagse tour vanuit Lima: Machu Picchu en de Amazone-jungle

We actually did the 10 days (9 nights) tour with cultural immersion! Willie was our driver and Alvaro was our guide. We had a great time on our vacation where we visited The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco and finally the Amazon Jungle. lots of early mornings with a well balanced schedule. If you're looking for a peruvian experience but are short on time then I recommend the 10 day/9 night tour (available on their website). The whole process of booking and communicating was really easy for us - Alvaro (our guide) was also the person who handled our booking and whom I was planning with through email so that was lovely to put a face to the name!

We hebben deze tour geboekt vanwege de redelijke prijzen en de goede recensies. We waren meer dan verbaasd over hoe soepel de reis verliep en hoeveel we konden zien. Het reisbedrijf regelt alles - binnenlandse vluchten, dagtochten, een privégids, enz. Dit maakt het waar we ons tijdens de reis nergens zorgen over hoefden te maken - het was al geregeld. De hotels waarvoor het bedrijf ons boekte waren geweldig - vriendelijk personeel, schoon en een geweldige locatie. We hielden van alle tours/excursies die we deden. Wat deze tour echter echt geweldig maakte, was het personeel. Onze eerste chauffeur Fernando was buitengewoon aardig, toen we zeiden dat hij de oceaan wilde zien (mijn moeder had het nog nooit eerder gezien), bood hij aan om ons vroeg op te halen en mee te nemen! Toen was de gids die we hadden voor Cusco, de Heilige Vallei en Machu Picchu (ik voel me vreselijk, ik kan me zijn naam niet herinneren) uitstekend! Hij was beleefd en zo goed geïnformeerd! Hij was erg boeiend toen we het hadden over de verschillende sites die we bezochten. Ten slotte was ons verblijf in het regenwoud ongelooflijk. Het hotel waar we in verbleven was geweldig, en onze dagen waren vol met excursies. We hebben zoveel dieren kunnen zien, waaronder apen, een python, een anaconda, een kaaiman en nog veel meer! Ik zou dit reisbureau absoluut aanbevelen aan iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in een bezoek aan Peru!

We had 2 nights in the Amazon at Amazona Posadas. We packed in a lot to very little time. The lodge was beautiful and very comfortable, food was excellent. Our guide was very good but seemed a bit disinterested at times. Very knowledgeable. We then went to Cusco, had a walking tour and cooking class. Our new guide, Albero was excellent. Our cooking class with Jesus was fun, very accommodating. We then moved on to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Highly recommend the hike at MP Mountain. Our guide was very supportive and patient! Next we then went to the Rainbow Mountain. Unfortunately, though I requested we NOT go to Vinicunca, that is where we were taken. It was very beautiful, but very crowded. I did not understand why we did not go to Palcoyo. Was told later it was not accessible due to landslides. This may have been the case, but was unhappy about the lack of transparency prior to embarking. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and grateful to have completed it before the travel restrictions were set in place for the COVID pandemic.
