Sounds of Soul in The Smokies

We enjoyed hearing the tribute to Frankie Valli by Nick. He had an incredible voice and was a good entertainer. The seats were comfortable and the staff were friendly. What was disappointing was The show was supposed to last an hour and a half and it was only an hour and 10 minutes I thought the price $40 each was a little stiff for a short show. The other disappointing thing is there were no restrooms in the theater you had to go around the corner behind the deli and use public bathrooms, which the majority of the stalls had no toilet paper and there was no paper towels to dry your hands, a little inconvenient I would say. The theater is tucked away in the corner of a small strip mall. All the advertising says they open up at 6:30, one hour before the show, but there was a sign on the door. They don’t open until seven, 1/2 hour before the show starts. The theater is small and it has open seating in any seat that did not have a reserved tag on it. They had popcorn and bottle soft drinks for sale.

Loved it. My husband's memories were filled with happiness. It is a small, intimate venue, and Nick (singer) and Michelle covered a range of oldies.

We were genuinely excited for A Frankie Valli Tribute in Pigeon Forge, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The show began with the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner and a video about the American flag. While we fully respect expressions of patriotism, the choice felt out of place for a tribute concert and set a somewhat uneasy tone—especially considering the venue is located directly beside a Trump Store. As politically moderate travelers from a “blue dot” area, we felt uncomfortable and uncertain about whether right-wing politics would be incorporated into the performance. Thankfully, the show didn’t delve into politics, but the surrounding atmosphere still impacted our overall comfort. The performance itself featured a married couple singing a selection of past hits and a few Frankie Valli songs to a pre-recorded soundtrack. There was no live band or backup singers to recreate the signature Four Seasons sound, which took away from the energy and authenticity we were hoping for. The venue was underwhelming. The seating was uncomfortable, and the theater didn’t appear well-maintained—there was popcorn and leftover wrappers on the floor when we arrived. Small TV screens were used to show clips of Frankie Valli interviews and segments from the Jersey Boys biopic, but they were hard to see from most seats and didn’t add much to the experience. To make matters worse, there were audio issues throughout the show, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the music. The audience was very small—only 14 people total, and three were relatives of the performers. That unfortunately added to the awkward, low-energy atmosphere. While we appreciate the effort that went into putting on the show, it simply didn’t deliver on the promise of a true tribute to Frankie Valli. We would not recommend this experience or attend again in the future.
