We had an 8 and 4 year old and they both enjoyed it as there are almost constant activities. Two meals, pirate show (sword fighting, walking the plank, some pyro), games (dance off, guess the amount of dots, etc.), and lots of beach activities. They also really focused on the kids to make sure they had fun and felt comfortable. You are assigned a personal pirate, who also has many other jobs including being in the show, who almost constantly checks on you which is nice. It also helps the drinks are somewhat watered down as they just keep appearing. Tips to know - the boat does move so bring your sea legs and seasickness medicine if you are prone. The transfer to the beach is in smaller speedboats so be prepared to jump in the water to make it ashore. And lots of audience participation so be prepared to be a bit silly which is part of the fun.
