The guys running Algarve Buggy Tours are very friendly and professional. We did the "safari tour" which was some three-ish hours in total, including a half-hour pause. There are definitely some nice views along the way, including a couple fun hill climbs, some small river passings and dense bush-covered paths. There are quite a bit of plain transport as well though, which is of course hard to do anything about, since you start out in a regular housing neighbourhood. Like others have stated many of the roads and paths are very dusty. One member of our party made the mistake of wearing a white t-shirt which will never be quite white again :-)
We got more or less what we expected. If you like this kind of activity I can recommend Algarve Buggy Tours.
