To make it to an important meeting on the mainland, I booked a taxi to the airport at 5 AM one week in advance. I gave Ray, the owner of Taxi Fajardo, the exact address and a pin drop on Google Maps. Since it was essential that I made that flight, I checked in with Ray the day before. All was supposedly well.
However, as it turned out, while I was waiting to be picked up, the driver had been given the wrong address and was 45 minutes away at the time I was supposed to be picked up. This caused significant stress and concern. Ray did not reach out to apologize and only after I reached out myself issued a half-hearted "sorry about that." My own proactive booking well in advance was the only reason I didn't miss my flight.
When I was finally picked up, the car and ride were perfect, but a company that makes such major mistakes and doesn't take proper accountability cannot be recommended.
