Right from the time I reached base camp till the end of the rafting expedition, every single detail of the experience was simply wonderful! The base camp is located in the most serene valley surrounded by lush green hills all around, there is a beautiful stream that passes through and a private waterfall you can bathe in. You can even fancy yourself a mud bath here. The food provided was absolutely delicious!! Bheem and his entire team are extremely well coordinated, well organised, and real good human beings. They took care of each and everything very diligently and with so much love. I felt completely safe and comfortable.
We did a 108km rafting across 4days, camping at the most scenic and beautiful ghats of Alaknanda and Ganga. The rafting experience was on its own very very thrilling with grade 3+ rapids and our guide Sandy made sure we experienced the best adventures that the waters could provide! We rode the big rapids, jumped into the water and body surfed along the waves, did cliff jumping, etc.. all of which was so much fun and memorable! This was only possible cuz the team made us feel completely safe and well protected.
The expedition was very well planned and the team made sure we had all the adventure possible while keeping time in mind. They even took us to a hidden waterfall that very few people are aware of which was such a wonderful surprise by the team! They even organised for a surprise diwali celebration where we lit lamps on the river bank and enjoyed gulab jamuns together☺️
Bheem and his team truly make sure that every person is well taken care of, enjoys and goes back home with big smiles and wonderful memories! They are also one of the few rafting companies in India with safety kayakers accompanying each raft if any kind of rescue is needed. Hands down, this rafting team is the best you will find in the country, no doubts about it!

I had booked an expedition ( 3 days trek + 4 days rafting) in October 2021 with Whiteworld expeditions. We were a group of 17 people from different parts of India. My experience with Whiteworld Expedition team was amazing!!
Right from the time we arrived at Rishikesh for expedition, WW team (Bheem & Deepak) has been around full time watching all our needs. The first encounter with the team itself showed so much love and care which is very rare. Our team reached Rishikesh by around 11am which was way beyond breakfast time. Bheem asked his team to wait and make breakfast for us just before we arrive so that we get it hot. We were served delicious aloo parathas and sandwiches. Our journey started with round of introduction where Bheem told us about his journey. It was heart touching and inspiring to see his passion towards his work and how he built his dream. We all connected with him almost instantaneously and from that moment he was one of us. He stole our hearts with his caring smile and his super fun one liners :)
About WW campsite at Rishikesh:
WW team had arranged vehicle for us which dropped us at Whiteworld Rishikesh camp site which was our base camp. It was one of the most beautiful, well organised campsites I have seen so far and the best part is it is all-in-one campsite. The campsite is at very serene location away from city, in the middle of jungle, next to a river stream ( which merges with Ganga in just few kms ) and surrounded by hills on all sides. There is awesome trekking trail, secluded (almost private) waterfall. Campsite is very well equipped with amenities which is rare in any campsite. There are concrete toilets, bathrooms. I was surprised to see shower and hot water supply at camp site :) Apart from this there is big space for outdoor games or any team activities, dedicated space for campfire at night, dining area and what not. More importantly there is loving staff who takes care like a family. I was amazed to see how compassionate and considerate the team is. We were greeted with a big smile by Shaan who is one of the property caretakers. Shaan and Naveen were the two WW team members at base camp who were constantly watching our needs and were there for anything we asked for. Our team had a workshop for 2 days before starting expedition at base camp and WW team made very private undisturbed space available for us to silently and conduct workshop. It was the best workshop so far for me and some credit definitely goes to the beautiful calm and serene space of the campsite!
About the food arrangements:
When I entered campsite I saw a board at dining hall which had timings, activities, important contacts etc. mentioned so meticulously. Food is one thing WW team is very particular about. It is their motto that food should be available at exact decided time and no one should be left empty stomach. Every time we had food they would ensure each one of us has had full meal and no one if left and only then they would eat. Most importantly every meal was served with so much love by Shaan and Naveen :) We had tasty food, well on time and mouth watering desserts too. Thanks to chef Soam !! Who would expect Rasgulla and Gulab Jamun at trekking campsite! One of our friends had a birthday during our expedition. WW team went to an extent of arranging balloons , blowing balloons, setting up a surprise room with all birthday decorations and arranged for a yummy cake too! We had a party that night and we all danced like crazy!
The team is al rounder. One day one of our team mate had upset stomach due to outside food. WW team knew exactly what to do. They have all these non-medicine solutions to such problems. They offered this Kaccha pakka Jeera water from the kitchen and within few minutes the problem was gone!
About the expedition:
Our expedition included two parts. Trekking Chopta-Tungnath-Chandrashila and some local treks and 4 days of rafting in Bhagirathi-Ganga. We had our breakfast at camp site, packed lunch and started trek from Chopta around 10 am. There was proper trail for most of the part. Bheem and Deepak were with us from WW team. They led the trek. They ensured that all of us are climbing at our pace and at no point there was any pressure to hurry up. One of our friend twisted her leg day before trek at camp site but with help from WW team and group even she managed to climb up to Chandrashila :) There was immense support from WW team throughout the trek. Bheem kept cracking jokes to lighten us up. When we were about to reach the top it started drizzling. Rain was completely unexpected and not all had they rain coats. Temperature suddenly changed as we reached up and rain added to the cold. It was very windy and cold. Must have been 4 5 degrees. WW team offered their own jackets to some of the team members who were not equipped for cold and rain. We reached the summit somewhere around 3-4pm. The view was breathtaking!
After getting excessively tired and shivering with cold due to rain we needed some break as body was stiff. Bheem took us to one small local restaurant on the way and made us sit and have some tea and Maggie. He kept the energy so up with his humour that all of us felt refreshed and regained energy to go down. As all were hungry and badly needed something hot to have, Bheem himself entered the kitchen and started helping in cooking to fasten it :)
In the face of uncertainty:
When we came down to Chopta camp site rain had picked up speed. Due to excessive rainfall there were landslides on our way back and roads were closed. We stayed longer at the Chopta camp itself waiting for signals from WW team. Bheem was constantly in touch with his team at Rishikesh and was keeping us updated all the time about the situation. WW teams coordination and communication is just amazing! The moment they got info about road opening they quickly asked us to pack and we left Chopta campsite. We all decided to keep moving towards Rishikesh as much as possible to avoid getting stuck at Chopta. On our way back we again got info about Rishikesh road being stuck. WW team promptly took decision of staying at Rudraprayag and we started searching for stay options. The speed at which Bheem lept out of the bus at every hotel on the way checking for availability was just unbelievable. We call him White leopard now! WW team always included us in all the decisions and promptly suggested alternate plans when we faced the uncertainty.
They took us safely to their Rishikesh campsite and even created an alternate trekking plan as rafting got banned due to heavy rainfall. We did moonlight night trek, visited Pavaki Devi temple, Meditated in caves, visited Vasishta Caves and everyday bath in waterfall :)
Even in the face of natural calamity, WW team supported us safely. They were very alert, considerate and prompt in every aspect. Though we were in extremely uncertain situation, none of us panicked as we all had deep trust in WW team and they really gave us that safely and comfort.
About the involvement of the team:
We met Bheem, Deepak, Shaan, Naveen and Soam from Whiteworld team on this expedition.
Bheem and his team is internationally certified in rafting and have rich experience in their domain. Hence safety is fully guranteed.
The most wonderful part about this team is that they are all doing this work as their passion and with full heart in it. They all do all the works with equal involvement. It is not surprising to see trek leads cooking, arranging or even helping in cleaning campsite there. It is their love for their work that really makes that place special.
About Bheem, though he looks like a lean guy, he is really the Bheem in his experience, strength and love. We named him White leopard, such is his power! Alert, fun and a man with passion ! His story of how he started his journey of rafting and created WW expedition is so inspiring!
About Deepak, Deepak was initially very quiet as Bheem was primarily leading our group. Deepak is strong pillar of WWE. He also leads expeditions and primarily manages WW with Bheem. Deepak told us so many stories about how they built the campsite on their own, about their vision, their team and how they manage team. I was surprised to listen to all the background work they do to ensure they always excel. I saw a live demonstration of how corporates follow various agile methodologies to ensure continuous improvement there. Deepak is a planner!! He is also very close to nature. He taught us all the desi nuskas to deal with fever, cough, constipation etc. and also took us for mud bath :) Bheem and Deepak also cooked full dinner for us for couple of days!
About Soam, he is the head chef at WWE. He managed all the food prep and ensured we got tasty food well on time! Sweet Dalia and chicken curry he makes are my favourite !
About Shaan and Naveen, they both served us every meal with a loving smile and catered to all our needs. They were so swift and considerate that sometimes we did not have to ask, they spotted our needs and took appropriate actions :) Shaan would tell us stories of his childhood and his love story :) They both are so loving and caring that they soon became part of our group.
This expedition was one of the most memorable experiences for me. Thank you Bheem, Deepak, Soam, Shaan & Naveen and WW team for this wonderful experience which got me much closer to nature and people. For all the people who are looking for expeditions in Rishikesh or even a peaceful stay at Rishikesh, Whiteworld is my recommendation. The space offers more than just expedition!
