Olijfolie-ervaring

I didn't know olive oil could taste this amazing!!! We had a SPECTACULAR lunch and tour of Amodeo's Farm. The food was fabulous and it was wonderful to learn all about olive oil and the history of the farm. Frank was so incredibly generous with his food, time and knowledge. He was wonderful with our kids, providing them with straw hats, toys in the field, and tools so they could pretend to participate in the harvest. He was also patient with us when we needed to take a break in the middle of the visit so my partner could do some work. This is a wonderful and special day and fabulous opportunity to get to know a very special industry and person. Don't be fools like us and only buy two bottles of olive oil to bring home!!! Stuff your suitcases!!!!!

Learned a lot. Frank is a gracious host. Come hungry, the lunch he served was one of the best meals we ate on the trip and he sent us home w a doggie bag! ????

Aside from the absolute beauty of the area Frank treated us like family. Frank had a special lunch prepared for us that was simply magnificent. Then we went to a small area and learned how to pick olives by hand and machine. Last but not least we were educated on how to taste olive oil and the differences in olive oils. When your there buy olive oil to take home. We were apprehensive of taking the oil on an airplane bound for the United States. We wrapped each can in bubble wrap, placed them in zip lock bags and packed them in our luggage. They arrived in perfect condition, not a drop leaked out! Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Frank and experience what he has to offer. I promise you that you will never eat an olive or taste olive oil in same manner that you had done previously.
