Premium James Bond Island per Big Boat met kanovaren

Amazing experience! The tour company was incredibly organized. The canoeing through caves was an unforgettable experience. Th food was great too! Everyone in my group ages 5 to 41 were so pleased with the whole day.

Of the several boat tours that we did whilst in Thailand, this one was the most relaxing and also had the smoothest journey (you could barely feel the boat moving). After being picked up from our hotel in Patong, we travelled to Ao Po Pier (we were the first to be picked up and at both of the other stops, we had to wait about 10 minutes each time for other people to join so I'd recommend a private transfer if it's an option). We then arrived at the pier where there was a comfortable waiting area with toilets, snacks and drinks. Drinks and snacks were available on the boat for the duration of the trip which was great. At our first stop (Hong Island), we got into kayaks and had about 30 minutes where we we paddled around by a tour guide - this was great fun and the scenery was lovely. We then hopped back into the boat and travelled to James Bond Island. The boat itself was too large to dock so we got into a longtail boat for a really quick transfer (about 2 minutes) to the island. This stop was incredibly crowded, which is probably to be expected given that it attracts many tourists, and was our least favourite part of the tour. This is obviously nobody's fault but it's worth being prepared for! We had about 30-45 minutes here which was perfect - any longer would've been too long as there simply wasn't enough space on the island for everyone. After another journey, we arrived at Panak Island where we once again got into kayaks to be paddled by our tour guides. At the first kayak stop, you could wonder why it was necessary to have a guide paddling the kayak for you (we didn't mind as it meant that we could relax and enjoy the scenery); however, at Panak Island it became very clear why it was necessary! To get to the mangrove area, we had to be paddled through a dark tunnel filled with stalactites. In places, the ceiling was so low that we had to fully lay down in the kayaks and the only light came from the guide's head torch. We absolutely loved this but can imagine the chaos that could possibly occur if tourists were paddling themselves and got a bit panicked or stuck! We had some time to explore the mangroves in the kayak before heading back to the boat. Back on the boat, we were served a delicious lunch (I'm a vegetarian and was perfectly happy with the options available) and then headed to the final stop where we give able to either swim (don't bother bringing a snorkel as the water wasn't clear enough) or relax on the boat. Highly recommend this tour - we really enjoyed it. The only thing that could have made it better was transfer times being reduced by spending less time waiting for people.
