Be careful before booking! Cruise ships coming in to Venice must go to ports outside the city - Fusina or Chioggia. This is not a service that picks you up at either of those places. Our Viking ship docked at Fusina and I reached out to see if we could get a water taxi from the dock in Fusina to our hotel in Venice. They booked it, never mentioning that they didn't come to Fusina, and said they would meet us at the cruise terminal. Never having been to Venice, we did not realize that the cruise terminal they meant is a 20+ minute drive from Fusina. We had to scramble to get Viking to shuttle us to the cruise port. To make matters worse, because they gave us no clear meeting point, our shuttle driver directed us to the wrong spot, and our water taxi never came. Two phone calls to the taxi service and an hour and a half later, they repeatedly told us they were coming, but went to a different location from us. No attempts to find us, or clarify where we were waiting on their end, so we ended up taking public transportation. Although Viator responded to our request we were not able to get a full refund.
If you choose to use this service, make sure you know exactly what you are getting, know that it's very over-priced (we learned later from our hotel). and be prepared to contact them, because they will not contact you.
