My spouse and I only decided to do a cooking class on a whim because the Georgian food tastes so delicious and we were intrigued. Yet, the whole class with a talented local chef in her family home and especially our guide Nene's warmth was even more magical!
The entire class—from kneading dough to savoring our own creations—felt intimate, authentic, and full of kindness. And when we finally sat down to taste the dishes we had made…wow. Each bite captured the heart and soul of Georgian cooking.
All in all, what began as a spontaneous decision turned into one of our most memorable experiences in Georgia, with a real connection to Georgian culture and cuisine.
