Diego was an awesome tour guide. We rode the ATVs through the little town then went to the cenote then back to the meeting spot where we got a tequila tasting and learned about the tequila making process which was my favorite part of the excursion. After that we went to where we signed the waivers and had a delicious lunch. Just a heads up don’t order the pico, guacamole and chips that they offer unless you want to pay an extra $19. They didn’t tell us it was extra so when the bill came we were surprised. The Snorkeling was cool, saw a lot of fish!

We booked this as an excursion for our Cruise stop in Cozumen in April. The communication before we departed on our cruise from the rep at Tortugas was great, and answered my questions adequately. It can be a little nerve racking booking an excursion that's not through the cruise ship, but they provided great Instructions. Just take a 10 min cab ride (all the cabs seems very safe and regulated) to Tortugas Beach Club. We walked through to the end of the Cozumel port and there are taxis waiting to to provide transportation services. All spoke english so it was no problem communicating where to go. Once we arrived we were met by our tour guide Richie. Super nice guy and knows a lot about Cozumel’s history and culture! He took out some of the turtles from the enclosure they have to let our kids pet one and get a pic. After checking us in, he walked us down to the beach bar and offered us a drink while we waited for the other guests to join the tour. The first part of our tour was the snorkeling. They took us on a 10 min catamaran trip to a reef and went through the instructions and handed out the gear. They only had mask/snorkel and inflatable life vest (no fins) since they said the current would allow us to just drift to the marker where the boat would pick us up, which made sense but I would have preferred some fins to allow me to dive down easier to get closer looks at the coral we did see . But the guides were great and kept everyone together. Lots of different fish (Blue Tangs, Parrot Fish, Angel fish, etc) but not a LOT of coral…mostly sandy bottom. But a great first time snorkeling experience for our kids (ages 7 and 9). After returning to the beach club, we were off for our next part of the tour, which was the ATV ride. Richie told us it was a 10 min Jeep ride away….but he has ME drive the jeep…which was strange but fine. He sat in the passenger side and tod me where to go and also pointed out many landmarks and talked about the island which was interesting. Once we arrived at the ATV center, we were provided helmets and a locker for our stuff. They offered bandanas as face coverings but you do have to purchase them ($5 ea) if it hasn’t rained it will be a bit dusty on the roads so ot may be a good idea or being your own face covering if you don’t want to pay for one. The guides provided instructions on how to operate the ATVs and then took us down the road to a dirt track to practice a bit. Then we hit the trail. It was def a bit bumpy, rocky and dusty….but super fun as the ATVs handle the bumps really well. After about 20 min of riding through the trails, we came to the Cenote. They had a mini version of the Chichen Itza, and the kids had fun climbing it and getting pics. Then we went down to the cenote. There is a cliff you can climb up to and jump into the refreshing spring water if you are brave. We all did (even the kids) and loved it! Saw some wildlife (a caoti in the trees and a snake on a branch near the water) which was also really cool! After the swim, we hopped back on the ATVs and returns back to the ATV shop. There we enjoyed a Tequila tasting of several different locally made flavors. It was a little bit of a sales pitch to buy some bottles but we didn’t feel pressured. They also offer photos (a photographer followed around in an ATV and was snapping lots of pics) that you can buy - digital package of all the photos was actually pretty reasonable. We headed back in the Jeep and back to Tortugas Beach club for lunch. Really declined fajitas and open bar while the kids swam and played on the inflatable water structures and trampoline. They had a blast. They do have some local vendors walking though selling bracelets, etc. but they weren’t too pushy. Overall a really great excursion and the service was really awesome. You won’t be disappointed with this trip if you like a little adventure for your cruise excursion!

Very fun adventure! I highly recommend this ATV tour if you’re in Cozumel. The guides were great. The terrain was fun and the sample of tequila was great too!
