7 dagen in Bhutan-A Land of Happiness, Bhutan ~ The Beauty of Six Buildings, Seven Life Experiences

We recently embarked on a 9-day journey to Bhutan with Bhutan Best Travel (BBT), and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the initial planning stages to the final day of our trip, BBT consistently exceeded our expectations. Trip Planning Even with a tight booking window of less than three weeks, BBT expertly crafted a personalized itinerary that catered to our needs, especially considering we were traveling with an elderly family member. Their responsiveness and flexibility were truly impressive, as they accommodated our requests and concerns throughout the planning process. Hotels The accommodations provided by BBT were comfortable and clean, with friendly and attentive staff. A tip we learnt is that booking massages in advance (at least 2 days) is highly recommended, especially for popular destinations like Paro after the Tiger's Nest hike. Food The food during our trip was a culinary highlight. BBT thoughtfully incorporated local dishes into our meals, allowing us to savor the authentic flavors of Bhutanese cuisine. Their willingness to accommodate dietary preferences and special requests further enhanced our dining experience. Price BBT offered an incredibly competitive price. Compared to four other big tour agencies based in Singapore, BBT was cheaper and guaranteed a private tour (whereas the rest did not - if more travellers joined the tour, they will be added into the group). Further, BBT offered an entirely customised itinerary and flexible schedules so it was perfect for us. Guide and Driver One of the standout features of our trip was the availability of a Mandarin-speaking guide. This was a crucial factor for our elderly family member, and BBT's willingness to provide this service without additional fees was truly commendable. Our guide was a local Bhutanese not only knowledgeable about Bhutan's history and culture but also incredibly friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. For instance, we had merely asked out of curiosity whether there were nunneries in the area since all the temples we saw were monasteries and the guide and driver went out of their way to plan a short detour to visit a nearby nunnery. Others Despite an unexpected flight schedule change leading to our original 10-day trip being cut down to 9-days (which is really most likely due to our last minute booking so it's really our own fault), BBT refunded us all the expenses for the last day, extended sincere apologies and took proactive efforts to address the situation leaving a lasting impression. They even sent someone from their head office to personally come down to our hotel to apologise and explain the situation - which they really didn't need to. Their dedication to providing excellent service and creating a memorable experience is truly admirable and we were very impressed. We highly recommend Bhutan Best Travel to anyone planning a trip to Bhutan. Their professionalism, personalised service, and commitment to customer satisfaction make them the ideal choice for a truly unforgettable adventure.
