Pros:
-Relatively inexpensive for last minute booking and including transportation
-Friendly guides who seemed to get along with other guides and all worked well together
-challenging and even thrilling jumps, etc
Cons:
-No helmets given even though conditions were poor, pouring rain, slippery rocks, etc. Even though you sign your life away in a waiver, you'll do well to avoid your own heart attack if you happen to work in the insurance industry. Some people slipped and it could have been nasty
-far too crowded to enjoy. Granted it was peak season, but you'll stand in lines that rival Disney for just 3 "attractions" - a rock slide, a cliff jump and a rope swing
-a little too much forced joviality
-no information about the rain forest aside from what a citronella tree looks like
Recommendations :
-bring a sweatshirt for the bus. They keep the temperature on the bus so low and you've just been freezing in a river
-you spend max 1 1/2 hours at the aforementioned attractions. The rest of the time is picking people up, breakfast stop (where you can buy decent water shoes that worked for us), trekking to and from attractions, 1 1/2 hour lunch afterwards. We were back around 4:15
-not suitable for toddlers
-not suitable for older folks
-if you're looking for nature, I'd say find another tour
