We were excited by the promise of a “do what you want when you want” experience and had especially looked forward to the water activities. Unfortunately, the hop-on/hop-off format didn’t deliver on that flexibility — stops were limited to about 20–30 minutes, which didn’t leave much time to explore or enjoy the locations.
While there were a few interesting moments, many of the advertised “highlights” felt more like quick photo ops. The “swim with pigs” experience, for example, was really just watching a few pigs play in the mud for a couple of minutes before boarding a raft. The monkey encounter was similarly brief — essentially a one-minute photo opportunity with a monkey.
We didn’t find the animal parade (which we saw twice) especially entertaining, but the kids on the tour seemed to have a great time. If you’re traveling with young children, this might still be a good fit — just worth knowing what to expect ahead of time.
